Well, the story will surely continue in 2022. The anime premiered in 2019 with its first season. Season 2 has also concluded airing in March 2021. On the very day of the final episode of season 2 the sequel was approved. The Quintessential Quintuplets is supposed to be a movie as per the announcement made on April 18, 2021, by the makers that the anime is renewed for a sequel that hinted towards a movie. It is known that a movie will continue the story which is proposed to release in 2022. The news for its sequel is shared officially by a tweet that thanked the audience and informed them about its renewed sequel. The news of the sequel, which will be the movie, faced mixed reactions from the audience. We have to wait for some time but thankfully this time we have a proposed time for its release.

What it can be about -As we know that sequel is on its way, predicting the next is pretty complex. If we connect the dots from last season we get some idea where we have seen all the five girls trying hard to seek the attention of Futaro, hence we can expect the story will decide Futaro’s choice for his life partner. What QUINTESSENTIAL QUINTUPLETS is all about?

The story of quintuplets is fairly interesting, it goes around the life of a high school student Futaro Uesugi who is very good at academics but his family is in huge debt. It’s very difficult for him to meet both ends. Luckily he gets the opportunity to teach the five girls of the rich Nakano Family, who recently shifted to the area. The girls hardly have any interest in academics with a track record of poor scores but Futaro finds the role of a highly paid tutor a good opportunity for him to make his life better. Earlier some of the girls were not accepting Futaro but later all did. He works hard and also develops a great bond with each girl, which in turn changes to acceptance of all girls accompanied by good grades. Flash forward reflects that is married to one of the girls of the family, not all. In the next season, we will get to know his partner also.

The anime is based on the center six personas, all the characters are styled in different ways.
